Phantom Henry takes out Peter Wilson Memorial
Deeragun trainer Rhonda Essery had Phantom Henry in the Peter Wilson Memorial over 498m last week when the lure arm broke, the race was rescheduled to Tuesday night, Race 6 the Peter Wilson Memorial over 498m, beginning well was Choc Latte Cloud and Phantom Henry followed by Logical Option and Irish Spice, going through the catching pen Phantom Henry went round Choc Latte Cloud and accelerated away to a big lead leaving Logical Option, Choc Latte Cloud and Irish Spice to fight out the minor positions. As they rounded the corner into the home straight Phantom Henry still had a good lead from Logical Option, Irish Spice and Rimba Sambia, Phantom Henry scored by 5.75 lengths in 28.81 from Rimba Sambia ($1.75) and Logical Option ($1.60) in third.

Going through the back straight Willy Rocket was just leading from Poppy Chooky, as they came into the bend Poppy Chooky railed up under Willy Rocket and accelerated away leaving Willy Rocket, Licorice Shot, Swap Me and Banjo An' Henry to fight out the minors, Poppy Chooky went to the line scoring by 4.25 lengths in 29.05 from the kennelmate Swap Me ($1.45) and Licorice Shot ($1.85) in third.

Deeragun trainer Carol Pickard also had a good night picking up Race 9 the Lounds Fresh Seafood 4th Grade 380m, beginning well was Rockin' Tonight along with Flaming Moe followed by Woop Woop Kit and Apprehension, going along the straight Flaming Moe went past Rockin' Tonight and accelerated away to a good lead with Woop Woop Kit, Apprehension and Dream Amore making up the front runners, heading through the back straight Flaming Moe was setting a pace out in front from Woop Woop Kit, Dream Amore and Apprehension. Rounding the corner into the home straight Flaming Moe was still leading well from Woop Woop Kit, Dream Amore and Apprehension, crossing the line Flaming Moe scored by 3.75 lengths in 21.91 from Woop Woop Kit ($3.20) and Dream Amore (NTD) in third.
